The Nevada LLC Formation Benefits

The Nevada LLC Formation Benefits
Most business owners start their business because they have a dream or because they want to be their own boss and call the shots. Many of those business owners have discovered the Nevada LLC formation benefits and are happily doing business here in the state. There are several advantages to doing business in Nevada even if you don’t live in the state or if you don’t live here full time. It’s still possible to operate your business in Nevada by having a registered agent to accept process of service paperwork for you and to provide you with a physical mailing address for other legal purposes.
For one thing, the Nevada LLC formation process is one of the easiest in the country to complete making starting a limited liability company in Nevada quite easy and relatively quick compared to some of the stricter states in the US. The laws regarding businesses in Nevada are less rigid than in other states such as New York or Illinois. Nevada doesn’t impose a corporate income tax on your business which is probably the greatest benefit you could have. You’ll pay a very small percentage of your sales in the form of a ‘franchise fee’ to the state and that’s it.
The other most notable benefit of the Nevada LLC formation for your company is that you won’t be required to pay any personal income tax (to the state of Nevada anyway; if you live in another state that has income tax you’ll still have to pay it regardless of where your company is located). That combined with no corporate tax can mean a very significant savings for you each year you operate your business in Nevada. You will still be obligated to pay federal taxes on both your income and the income of the business, though.
